Overview

Creditor's rights journal includes two input modes - "Lend" and "Receive". In this tutorial I will describe the interface of each input mode by examples. Should you have any questions when you are using, please join our user groups or contact the author directly, you will get response certainly.

Lend

Scenario: On 19th October 2009, Smith lent 1000 dollars to a friend. Smith recorded a "Lend" journal in WidenHome, as the following picture.

Now I will describe the meaning of each input field based on the example.


  • Trading Date: The date of the actual business transaction, for example, the date when Smith did this transaction is 19th October 2009.
  • Handled By: Indicates who handled this business transaction, it's optional.
  • Description: Describes this business transaction briefly.
  • Debtor Subject: The subject of debtor.
  • Handling Charge: The handling charge for the transaction.
  • Payment Modes: Here we can input one or more payment modes.

Receive

Scenario: On 19th October 2009, Smith received 1000 dollars money repaid by friend. Smith recorded a "Receive" journal in WidenHome, as the following picture.

Now I will describe the meaning of each input field based on the example.


  • Trading Date: The date of the actual business transaction, for example, the date when Smith did the transaction is 19th October 2009.
  • Handled By: Indicates who handled this business transaction, it's optional.
  • Description: Describes this business transaction briefly.
  • Debtor Subject: The subject of debtor.
  • Interest Income: The interest income that may be generated.
  • Collection Modes: Here we can input one or more collection modes.
